Jack went to the library for a quiet place to study. Lisa, who sits across from him, has a different understanding of how the space can be used.
During my pitch I chose characters that I had already used before because I wanted characters that I was comfortable with but they seemed too old for the story I wanted to tell so I decided the use Leo and Ji Eun from Wonderwell instead. I'm glad I had experience learning new rigs on the fly because it was easy to get comfortable with these two.
I originally chose this idea because of how relatable having a noisy neighbor is. I believe my original animatic was almost too relatable and grounded in reality that it was boring. So I decided to change the actions of the noisy character to keep the emotions of the characters the same, but punch up the absurdity of the situation.
